HR Content Writing Portfolio

(Bags of HR and writing experience)

Why work with me?

My career in Human Resources spans almost 15 years, covering talent acquisition, employee relations, and engagement strategies. I’ve worked as an HR generalist, business partner, manager, and consultant—so I understand HR challenges from every angle. I've also been a content writer for years, having written HR content for Indeed, DLA Piper, People Management, Metro, HRD Connect, and various HR consultancies.

Over the years, as an HR specialist, I’ve had the chance to work in:

  • Big financial services corporates.
  • UK and US law firms (the Friday drinks trolley was an office highlight).
  • Insurance companies with complex people structures and matrix reporting.
  • A telecoms start-up that hosted the best socials.

I’ve navigated tough restructures, worked alongside tricky personalities, and partnered with inspiring colleagues who’ve shaped my career.

All of this gives me the insight to create HR content that’s not only professional and accurate, but also relatable, human, and engaging.

Knowing she might want a family one day, Karen went against the idea – so was advised that she should start...
